Grid Log App for ELD-exempt Drivers

Create a grid log app for drivers who meet the criteria below* so they can record an electronic version of their RODS vs. doing a paper log.

ELD Rule Exceptions
As specified in the ELD rule, the following are not required to use ELDs:

* Drivers who use paper logs no more than 8 days during any 30-day period.

* Driveaway-towaway drivers (were the vehicle driven is the commodity) or the vehicle being transported is a motor home or a recreation vehicle trailer (at least one set of wheels of the vehicle being transported must be on the surface while being transported)

* Drivers of vehicles manufactured before model year 2000.

Hi... We do understand the request for a grid log entry screen in the updated Encompass system, which is where this would now be implemented. It is under consideration. There's no specific deadline at this point. But it is being considered.

We have older model trucks and still use paper logs. We need the grid to input logs and keep track of DOT rules. Please consider this to be put back in for us manual users

Log grid requested for drivers always on paper logs and do not have an ELD. We currently have over 10. This new interface is more time consuming for administrator who adds logs into system.

YES!!!!!!!!!! I have several 150-mile drivers that occasionally need a paper log. We're using a standalone system running the old outdated KellerScan software for these logs and the PC just shut down on us. MOD's do you have any suggestions in the meantime while this is being considered?
